Some people say Elvis Presley couldn’t really play a guitar but all would say he could really sing and touch your soul! As with millions of people across the world, I was one of them. I wish I had kept the Admission ticket to his live Aloha From Hawaii Concert, in 1973. But, I was young and I thought that Elvis would live forever. I had thought that there would be many more live concerts in Hawaii.  Today, August 16, 2017; 40-years ago, Elvis Presley died. But his image and soulful voice still resonates within me. Elvis the Legend would indeed live forever!

  9. Thank you for your critique. Sometimes, I notice that when the Host upgrades the software, some words become “corrupted” or something might appear a bit off. The Host routinely warns the bloggers sometimes this occurs, so need to check. Of course, as life happens I can’t always check each blog post or entry. Likewise, comments from my international friends who probably use online translators may see less than accurate words being translated. So, despite this imperfect world of blogging, i do hope you will continue to enjoy the content and be inspired! Thanks.

  11. Hello There! I have to be honest with you. When I realized that I wanted to express my thoughts via a “blog” I didn’t expect anyone on earth to comment. I just thought, I’d write and express and share it. But I did know, if there were readers out there, this meaning; people of like-minds with similar spirits to be inspired and in turn inspire others, the odds are that many like-minded people would likely enjoy my thoughts. I have been humbly lucky that like-minded people are responding and happily commenting. I appreciate all their comments!

    But I am also getting overwhelmed too. Like you. I never thought I’d reach a state of legitimate comments flowing in, and I guess a portion of this mix are what you describe as “Spam Comments”. Many comments have emails that I am unable to respond to, so I’ve not attempted to continue to respond individually.

    In all sincerity, because I am unable to answer everyone’s comments, I have placed a “statement to this effect” in parts of my blog, so hopefully those whom I am unable to respond to will understand. Instead, I will post my reply comment within a Blog Post. I hope you regain your sense of peace again! Thanks!

    I also read an article about “Trolls”. The article suggests that these “Trolls” are real people sending out “not-too-nice comments” to a blog and they do it frequently. I do not know what compels anyone to do this but let us assume that is part of life. Therefore, “Troll comments” appears to be an emerging problem for unsuspecting blog sites. In regard to “Trolls” at the moment, there doesn’t seem to be anything we can do except to delete their negative, malicious comments.

    My web-host has “filters” or for my lack of technical expertise, perhaps they are called plug-ins that can filter out “Spam” comments by way of recognizing common words or phrases. This might be a lead-in to your legitimate desire to regain your sense of sanity and “peace” in your blog space.

    So yes, I sense you are like me with a desire to respond to many comments sent by your legitimate readers but unfortunately, you’ve reached a point that has exceeded practical limits. The positive comments are so inspiring and they outweigh the negative ones. And as much as we love our readers, I don’t think we have the capacity to respond to every comment (welcomed or not).
